Job description

This is a virtual role open to candidates working from Oregon or Washington. While the position is primarily virtual, there may be occasions when onsite work is required at a designated Legacy Health location. 

All new hires are required to travel to a Legacy Health office in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date to complete a newhire health assessment and newhire paperwork. Initial training and orientation may be conducted onsite before transitioning to the remote schedule.

While you are focused on maintaining standardized supply chain related databases and performing analysis and research, you know that the ultimate goal is to make life better for our patients.

Supply Chain Business Analyst:

Maintains standardized supply chain related databases including changes to records/tables/files. Identifies, designs, creates, and analyzes exception-based and ad hoc reporting and monitoring tools. Analyzes, researches, and resolves specific and systemic anomalies and validates for accurate and complete information in support of strategic decision making. Supports supply chain-related systems to promote standardization, efficiencies and compliance to regulations and policies. Continuously participates in purchasing strategies that advocate Lean Management and standard work protocols.


Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience required; master’s degree preferred.

 

Experience:

Minimum of three years of relevant experience in data collection and analysis, including experience in supply chain, distribution, warehouse, or logistics sectors. Knowledge of enterprise business capabilities (EBC) system preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

Understanding of current developments and trends in business informatics.

Demonstrated ability to perform system record/table/file maintenance.

Proven data retrieval and report writing and visualization skills.

Demonstrated systemic problem solving, research, documentation, and analytical skills.

Demonstrated project management skills.

Proven ability to use professional judgment, prioritize responsibilities/workload, meet deadlines, and produce an accurate work product.

Proven capacity to work with limited supervision.

Demonstrated ability to apply chain-of-command communication protocols.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills that encourage effective working relationships.

Solid customer-support aptitude utilizing effective verbal and written communication skills.


Licensure/Certification:

Certification in project management preferred.
