Job description

Role purpose/ summary:

The Production Manager oversees all aspects of productionof various Dubbing projects including but not limitedto:voice over and lip-sync dubbing, editing, mixing, and other localization servicesfrom projectinceptionto completion of production & final delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of production schedules including delivery, and archiving of final assets

  • Accurate andtimelyupdating of production status tracker(s) including A/V, ancillary deliverables, project specific budgetary forecasting

  • Tracks key milestones to ensure smooth production and communicates any changes to Title Manager(s).

  • Revises schedule according to client requests, production needs,establishedpriorities, and availability or capability of staff or equipment.

  • Scripting: Communicating with Director, Adaptor & Content Partners to ensure scripts are created accurately & within decided timelines

  • Review speaking roles and oversee casting

  • Directing voice talent as needed (special projects, pickups)

  • Review produced content for sync and quality

  • Facilitating the smooth operation and interaction of all key components & team members within the production

  • Confers with department supervisors todetermineprogress of work and to provide information on changes affecting efficiency and quality of production.

  • Collaborate with Studio Director andSupervising Dubbing ProducerinestablishingSOPs and operational best practices

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Essentialqualifications:

  • 3+years experiencein Dubbing/Post Productionrequired.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and stay cool under pressure in a fast-paced production environment

  • Knowledge of Video and Audio codecs, specifications, and formats

  • Comfort with creating workable and efficient production schedules

  • Understanding of production accounting

  • Experience withVoiceQor similar scripting software

  • Highly skilled with MicrosoftExceland Microsoft Office

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proficient in Pro-Tools

  • Fluent in Japanese,Koreanor other language in addition to English

  • Experience withprelayanimation workflows

  • Knowledge ofgame audio/localizationpipelines

Salary Range- $70,304-$78,000 DOE.
