Job description


The Japanese Corporate Banking (JCB) Account Documentation Team Analyst's primary responsibility is to assist JCB corporate banking clients in reviewing their legal documents.Ensuring customer information is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standard practice and taking due diligence.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform critical Interaction with JCB clients (80%):
โ€ข Interaction with customers to facilitate the processing of all bank documents ("Legal Documents").
โ€ข Facilitate accurate record keeping, approval of all documentation and ensure the appropriate dissemination of documents internally.
โ€ข New accounts opening, changes of address, title, and closing accounts.
โ€ข Talk with the client and support the relationship manager to ensure the completeness of the various forms.
Inter-department coordination, participation in trainings, projects and maintaining comprehensive data (20%):
โ€ข Maintain full understanding of the Bank's internal policies and procedures.
โ€ข Work with other JCB teams and other departments to follow up with the client to complete requests.
โ€ข Participate in departmental and JCB cross unit projects.
โ€ข Update and maintain a variety of databases; etc.
โ€ข Participate in Optimization activity to improve accuracy and efficiency of operations.
โ€ข Perform duties as assigned by Department Head including, such as:
oAssist with State, Federal, and internal audits.
oInvestigate and provide solutions for past due and pending items.
Requirements
Qualification:
โ€ข A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
โ€ข Prior experience in corporate banking, financial services or finance/treasurer department in corporations is preferred.
โ€ข In-depth knowledge of corporate banking procedures and products
โ€ข Excellent communication skills with attention to details and problem-solving capacity is required.
โ€ข Be able to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with various internal partners.
โ€ข English/Japanese language proficiency is required.
โ€ข Knowledge of basic PC applications (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
