We are seeking an experienced candidate with strong leadership skills, who can lead encourage and develop subordinates to achieve excellence in their positions, who is detail-oriented, and has at least 3 years of leadership experience.Projects include carpet cleaning, windows and glass, restroom detailing, tile and grout cleaning and general facility cleaning and detailing.Position SummaryThe Project Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations and administrative tasks. Operational problems will arise that require sound judgment to solve operational challenges. The Project Manager will develop and implement solutions that guarantee compliance with customer specifications and contract requirements. The Project Manager will effectively lead and manage staff, inspections, quality control measures, inventory control of equipment and supplies and repair of equipment.Essential DutiesManage operational strategy and provide direction to the team and supervisors.Plan, implement, delegate, and supervise operational plans and projects.Control costs, supply orders, equipment, and overall site inventory.Work and coordinate with the Operations Manager to increase new areas of opportunity.Conduct routine inspections, making appropriate observations and provides feedback to clients, supervisors and associates.An understanding of cleaning supplies and basic repair of all equipment.1 to 3 years of janitorial or related management and customer service experience.Good communication skills, written and oral.Supervisory and leadership skills.Confidentiality and discretion in customer dealings.Ability to work flexible hours to meet the business needs. Being available for any shift that is required by the customer.Location Birmingham, ALLICENSURE: Must possess a valid state driver's license in order to fulfill the duties of this position, as significant travel between accounts is required. Reliable transportation to allow for necessary travel to various accounts within the assigned territory is required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This job may require lifting of objects that exceed 50lbs., with frequent lifting and or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Other physical demands that are required are, reaching, climbing, stooping and or kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling, writing and seeing.Must pass E-Verify, Background and MVR checks in order to be hired.
