Job Description Summary
The Sr Enterprise Application Engineer is responsible for the support & delivery of Client Mac products and additional related and integrated products and services like JamfPro, Intune.
Knowledgeable of numerous software packages and Mac OS, manage multiple troubleshooting tasks simultaneously while maintaining the quality of results. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of the organization, with a focus on 1st class customer experience and urgency in restoring normal production operation conditions and proactively communicating about any outages and subsequent steps taken to drive resolution.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • macOS and Jamf Pro requirements gathering/assessment from Customer
    Design, Implementation and Administration of large complex Mac Services Infrastructure using JAMF Pro as well on-premise server maintenance activities
  • Create and update certificates and packages within JAMF Software Server PROD and DEV
  • Manage and keeping third - party applications up to date on the backend
  • Maintain server updates and address any security vulnerabilities.
  • Manage Linux-based servers hosted in VMware
  • Utilize Bash/Python scripting for JAMF bundle package creation and deployment
  • Test, install and update the MAC macOS operating system including proprietary applications, security patches, updates, application drivers and system security tools
  • Need to have strong understanding and experience with Intune / Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure Active Directory and Conditional Access
  • Create and manage technical system procedure documentation and ensure it is updated and current
  • Provide technical solutions and coordination for exceptions and issues as they arise.
  • Ability to understand and analyze issues and uses judgment to make decisions.
  • Responsible for testing all the test cases as per Test Cases document.
  • End User Devices Security - Manage security elements on each user and updating Antivirus definitions, setting local machine policies, scanning machines for vulnerabilities
  • Required to interpret complex designs and architectures and work with technical instructions.
  • Solutions for Monitoring and Managing Configurations

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum requirement - three (3) years' experience with JAMF Certified Technician (JAMF 100,200,300,400)
  • Strong knowledge in Operating systems - macOS (Catalina) and greater
  • Strong knowledge on Jamf Pro, DEP, VPP and Enterprise Connect implementation
  • Strong troubleshooting skills on device provisioning via DEP, application deployments (mandatory and self-service portal),
  • Good understanding of Active Directory, Storage and Networking.
  • Strong communication /Presentation Skills
  • Knowledge in managing iOS devices is added advantage Certifications:
