Job description

Ivy Tech Kokomo seeks a part-time lab tech to provide support for the automotive program for maintenance of classrooms, equipment, storage space, materials and assistance in course maintenance & development for online and face to face content for instruction.

Major Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe organized and clean classroom and lab.
  • Check availability of materials and equipment function for proper operation.
  • Order supplies, materials & parts for equipment as directed when needed.
  • Assist Instructor in the lab when needed.
  • Clean lab, equipment, and tables as needed.
  • Maintain storage room, supplies, equipment & resources as directed.
  • Make Word documents & Excel spreadsheets to assist in maintenance & development of online and face to face course content as directed.

Work Hours:

  • Hours will depend on classes assigned but may include evenings.

Hourly Pay Rate: $15

Minimum Qualifications:

A high school diploma is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with in an automotive setting preferred.
