Our client who is a global diversified technology and multi-industrial leader has an opening for an Identity & Access Management Engineer at their facility in Holland, MI. This is a long-term contract to direct hire to position with high visibility and growth potential.

Job Description

OVERVIEW:

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily management of and documentation of all key elements of Identity and Access Management infrastructure.ย  The engineer will provide troubleshooting and consulting support.ย  In addition, the Engineer will be involved in initiatives, as a project leader or technical resource to participate in creating and deploying new solutions, or to improve existing ones.ย 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the development of Identity and Access Management automation process for support of daily operations and the gathering of directory performance information.
  • Support Identity and Access Management initiatives by taking responsibility for the effective deployment and usage of assigned resources including vendor resource and ensuring they're completed within the planned timely estimate.
  • Maintains an understanding of all current and emerging Identity and Access Management technologies, open system standards, management technologies as they relate to the support of our client's infrastructure.
  • Be the main point of contact for client and stakeholder communication; Listen to concerns and bring feedback to team discussions; attend business communication meetings to present Identity & Access Management project material; provide operational training to partners on site and business units in accordance to industry standards
  • Provide accurate analysis of business requirements and in conjunction with the architecture and engineering teams develop solutions to fulfill them.
  • Participating on the defined shift schedules and being on-call for certain rotations on weekends and weekdays to accommodate business needs.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of relevant practical experience in Identity and Access Management production support of large-scale, global environments supporting over 75,000 users and globally diversified application authentication requirements.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012, as well as Microsoft client operating systems
  • Expertise in Active Directory and AD LDS including Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS)
  • Expertise with the following network protocols: LDAP, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, TCP/IP.
  • Experience with Incident & Request management workflows (e.g. ITSM, Remedy)
  • Experience with implementation of backup / restore and disaster & recovery strategies
  • Understanding of Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPO), Network Policy Server (NPS)

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree or related experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
