Project Manager with ITIL Implementation - Atlanta, GA - 5 days onsite - Contract role
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong ITIL implementation expertise to lead IT Service Management (ITSM) transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive ITIL framework adoption, process standardization, tool implementation, and service governance across enterprise IT environments. This is a fully onsite role based in Atlanta, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end ITIL implementation projects (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Service Request, CMDB, etc.).
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource plans.
  • Drive ITSM tool implementation or enhancement (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Application, Security, and Business teams to standardize service processes.
  • Establish ITIL governance models, KPIs, SLAs, OLAs, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings, executive updates, and steering committee presentations.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, budget, and change management.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and organizational policies.
  • Lead process workshops, documentation, and training sessions.
  • Coordinate UAT, go-live activities, and post-implementation support.
