Location: Lexington Park, MD (hybrid)
Position: Aviation Logistics Planner Senior
Overview:ITC Defense is seeking a senior-level Aviation Logistics Planner to support Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) international programs. In this role, you will support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) efforts by addressing complex aviation lifecycle and sustainment challenges for aircraft and weapons systems programs, delivering practical, cost-effective logistics solutions that enhance readiness and long-term program success.
Responsibilities:
Support may include, but is not limited to:
  • Conduct logistics, supportability, reliability, and maintainability analyses for aircraft, weapons systems, training systems, and support equipment.
  • Develop and refine logistics requirements to support lifecycle sustainment objectives.
  • Recommend improvements to maintenance planning, provisioning, manpower requirements, support equipment, training, technical data, and transportation planning.
  • Support development of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) management plans.
  • Review and contribute to Maintenance Plans, Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) records, and Level of Repair (LOR) analyses.
  • Assess impacts of system configuration or quantity changes on long-term sustainment strategies.
  • Evaluate maintenance systems and recommend enhancements to improve operational support.
  • Track program milestones and action items related to FMS case documentation, contracts, and In-Service Support Plans.
  • Support FMS case development, implementation, and follow-on sustainment activities.
  • Participate in program reviews, technical meetings, briefings, and stakeholder engagements (CONUS and OCONUS as required).
  • Support special projects as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Active Department of Defense Secret or Interim Secret Security Clearance
  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university and greater than ten (10) years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, life cycle management, analysis, or planning.
    • Additional experience can be substituted for a Master's or Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience supporting Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) programs or working within a NAVAIR Program Office.
  • Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or Security Cooperation programs.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle processes and sustainment planning.
  • Background in aviation maintenance, supply chain, or lifecycle logistics for aircraft or weapons systems.
  • Experience developing or reviewing Life Cycle Cost (LCC), Total Ownership Cost (TOC), or Level of Repair (LOR) analyses.
  • Ability to brief senior stakeholders and work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Maryland, ITC Defense is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Maryland and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
