Job description

Oliver McCrum Wines & Spirits is seeking a passionate, self-motivated Sales Representative to manage and expand our presence in the San Diego market. We are a growing, Italian-focused importer representing a curated portfolio of family-owned wineries and artisan spirits producers across Italy. Our focus is on authenticity, regional identity, and long-term brand building. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to quality, hospitality, and thoughtful salesmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow sales across San Diego County
Develop and maintain relationships with a mix of on/off-premise accounts
Prospect and open 3-5 new accounts per month aligned with our portfolio
Conduct 15-20 in person sales calls & tastings on a weekly basis
Organize and run in-store tastings, staff trainings, and educational events to boost awareness on a weekly basis
Maintain strong product knowledge across wine and spirits categories
Execute sales goals while representing the company professionally and authentically
Enter all tastings, customer communication, and orders into company CRM on a daily basis
Qualifications
Prior wine and spirits sales experience preferred but not mandatory
Lives in San Diego or able to relocate for the position, remote work is not a possibility for this role
Existing relationships within the San Diego hospitality and retail community strongly preferred
Passion for Italian wine, spirits, and hospitality
Strong communication and organizational skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Comfortable with portfolio presentations and account management
Ability to lift a box of wine
Must have a valid drivers license, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle to travel throughout the territory (expense stipend provided)
Compensation
$62,000-$68,000/year with annual salary review and potential performance-based bonus at year end
Benefits package includes health insurance, flexible PTO, and 401K
