We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Project Manager to join our Network team based in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Digital and IT Tech Platforms- Network Services team require an experienced Network Project Manager to manage network infrastructure related projects from inception through closure.

The Smart Refresh project is a multi-year project to refresh network infrastructure across a number of manufacturing and office locations within the North American region.

What you will be doing

With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:

  • Manage and coordinate the overall solution and activities of all technical resources, suppliers, business stakeholders, and business users (including requirements gathering and design activities), ensuring consolidated delivery across all suppliers by tracking and driving their progress throughout the life of the project.
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and lead the project team to meet time, cost, and quality targets, takingappropriate actionwhere team performance deviates.
  • Ensure that project, quality, and integrated program plans are prepared, provide regular consolidated reports to stakeholders, maintain status of the plan to ensure there is alignment to achieve the required objectives, and facilitate all project and steering board meetings to ensure stakeholders are informed of project activities.
  • Monitor and control financial management plan, resources,revenue,and capital costs against the project budget and manage expectations of all project stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and manage issues, risks, and escalations with stakeholders internally and with any suppliers, using standard project management documentation such as a RAID log.

Basic Requirements:

  • Associates degree in technical or related field with 7+ years of project management experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree in technical or related field with 5+ years of engineering experience, OR
  • Master's degree in technical or related field with 3+ years of engineering experience, OR
  • PhD in degree in technical or related field
  • To be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience managing Network infrastructure projects
  • Ability to drive business roadmap activities
  • Organized, demonstrates being in control, and takes charge
  • Manage a team of technical subject matter experts
  • Good communicator
  • Experience of working in a complex working environment
