Job Summary:
PDS of Morristown is a company that emphasizes continuous learning and professional growth while delivering reliable IT support to small and medium businesses in East Tennessee. They are seeking an IT Solutions Engineer to provide high-level technical solutions and support for client environments, managing projects and client relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Provide desktop and server support (Windows client and server environments).
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange/Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Entra).
• Manage virtualization (Hyper-V preferred) and Windows Server configuration.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices (firewalls, switches, routers, APs).
• Support SQL Server databases.
• Perform onsite client visits, remote support, documentation, and project work.
• Maintain documentation, security best practices, and disaster-recovery procedures.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years supporting business IT environments
• Strong Windows client & server, networking, and Microsoft 365 experience
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen if requested
Preferred:
• Relevant certifications (MCSA/Azure/AWS, CompTIA Network+/Security+, etc.)
• Scripting (PowerShell/Bash) and familiarity with virtualization or cloud
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in related field
