Choice IT Services is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering innovative IT solutions to small and mid-sized businesses.
Role Summary: We are seeking a Project Engineer to plan and implement a variety of IT infrastructure projects for our clients. In this client-facing role, you will deploy Microsoft 365 solutions, configure networking (LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN), and manage Windows Server/Active Directory environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end execution of IT projects (network upgrades, cloud migrations, Office 365 deployments, etc.), ensuring timely delivery.
Design and deploy LAN/WAN networks including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Implement and administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint) and support Windows 10/11 deployments and Windows Server upgrades.
Configure and maintain virtualizatio.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues on-site and remotely.
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves):
3+ years of hands-on IT systems/network administration or engineering experience.
2+ years of Managed IT Services experience
Proven expertise with networking (routing, switching, VPN, firewalls), Windows Server/Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical clients.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally to client sites regularly.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):
Experience in an MSP or IT consulting environment; familiarity with PSA/RMM tools.
Relevant certifications like Microsoft 365/Azure, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, etc.
Scripting ability (e.g., PowerShell) and knowledge of ITIL or IT service management processes.
Technical Skills / Technologies: Broad knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, Cisco/Juniper, firewalls, VPN), Windows Server & Active Directory, Microsoft 365 ecosystem, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
Certifications: Industry certifications such as Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE or Azure), CompTIA Network+, or Cisco CCNA are highly valued.
Experience Level: Mid-level (approximately 3-5 years of relevant IT experience). Prior client-facing or MSP experience is a plus.
Location & Work Model: Cleveland, OH. Hybrid work - mix of remote and on-site with frequent local travel to client sites.

Salary: $70,000-$90,000 per year (DOE)
