JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Information Technology Manager serves as the operational lead for IT across all GTB and GTB EDC entities and facilities, ensuring technology aligns with organizational objectives and standards. The role oversees enterprise technology operations, including service delivery, Help Desk, infrastructure, network and endpoint administration, enterprise applications, telecommunications, cloud services, cybersecurity, disaster recovery and business continuity, vendor relationships, technology lifecycle management, and IT project delivery. The IT Manager is accountable for reliable system performance, service quality, security, and responsiveness while translating strategic priorities into executable operational plans.

As a hands-on leader, the manager sets operational priorities, allocates resources, evaluates performance, fosters staff development, and directs cross-functional technology initiatives. Exercising independent judgment within delegated authority, this position resolves complex technical issues and serves as the escalation point for outages, cyber incidents, and other disruptions, coordinating responses with executive leadership, department managers, Tribal leadership, vendors, consultants, regulators, and business partners to reduce risk, improve customer service, and advance GTB EDC's technology capabilities.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and oversee the daily operations of the Information Technology Department across all GTB and GTB EDC facilities and business entities.
  • Ensure compliance with tribal, federal, state, gaming, privacy, and cybersecurity regulations.
  • Lead and manage daily IT operations across all GTB EDC facilities and entities.
  • The Information Technology Manger performs additional responsibilities consistent with the purpose and scope of the position as assigned by the Director of Information Technology.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) Years of age.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or a general education diploma (GED).
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum six (6) Years of progressively responsible enterprise Information Technology experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Minimum three (3) Years of supervisory or management experience leading technical personnel or information technology operations.
