Role Overview
The Senior Information Security Analyst is a senior-level individual contributor responsible for governance and risk management activities within the Information Protection domain. This role supports enterprise data-at-rest protection, information security metrics, audit readiness, and Board-level risk reporting through disciplined analysis, governance execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
The position operates with minimal day-to-day supervision and is critical to the organization's enterprise risk and compliance posture.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute governance activities supporting enterprise data-at-rest protection requirements
  • Lead recurring enterprise information protection metric cycles, including data validation, trend analysis, narrative development, and remediation coordination
  • Analyze complex, multi-factor risk and control gaps and influence remediation decisions in collaboration with technology, risk, and compliance partners
  • Interpret and apply information security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop audit-defensible documentation, evidence, and reporting artifacts
  • Support enterprise risk management initiatives, including executive and Board-level reporting
  • Collaborate strategically with internal stakeholders on complex, large-scale information security initiatives
  • Support responsible adoption of automation and generative AI tools through governance execution and oversight
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security Analysis, cybersecurity, IT risk management, or Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC), or equivalent experience through consulting, military service, education, or training
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment in ambiguous or unprecedented risk and governance scenarios
  • Proven experience operating in large, highly regulated enterprise environments
  • Experience supporting enterprise metrics, dashboards, or recurring reporting cycles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive leadership and audit audiences
  • Ability to influence outcomes without formal authority
  • Ability to work independently and manage steady-state operational responsibilities
