We are hiring a Senior IT Project Manager. The Senior IT Project Manager will direct large, complex IT programs and oversee portfolio execution within LSS-IT. This role drives program management, comprehensive financial management, and executive-level portfolio status reporting. The Senior IT Project Manager actively matures PMO capabilities and manages cross-project dependencies to ensure strategic enterprise alignment and value realization. 

This position is onsite fulltime in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct multi-track, high-budget IT projects and programs through the full execution lifecycle. 
  • Drive comprehensive financial management at the project level, including CAPEX/OPEX forecasting, variance analysis, and monitoring funding burn rates. 
  • Manage master program schedules, risk mitigation strategies, and complex cross-project dependencies. 
  • Lead large-scale vendor engagements, complex SOW negotiations, and deliverable acceptance. 
  • Oversee complex cutover planning and execute structured hypercare support models. 
  • Manage financial health across the IT portfolio, tracking total spend against approved LSS-IT budgets and reconciling project costs. 
  • Lead executive status reporting, maintaining comprehensive portfolio dashboards that track program health, execution risks, and financial metrics. 
  • Manage execution capacity and coordinate resource allocation adjustments across active programs. 
  • Partner with IT Business Partners to monitor ROI and drive value realization tracking post-deployment. 
  • Present project health updates, budget variances, and funding adjustment requests to the IT Steering Committee (SteerCo). 
  • Ensure enterprise projects maintain Governance Architecture Review Board (GARB) alignment throughout the design and build phases. 
  • Develop and mature PMO frameworks, project execution templates, and financial tracking metrics. 
  • Enforce the Two-Speed IT operational model for active projects, managing compliance, risk, and architecture requirements during execution. 

Required Skills/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field. 
  • 8+ years of experience in IT project and program management. 
  • Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar technology portfolios and complex enterprise deployments. 
  • Strong capability in portfolio-level financial management, budget forecasting, and executive status reporting. 
  • Advanced vendor management and contract negotiation skills. 
  • PMP, PgMP, or advanced Agile certification. 
  • Experience operating within GxP-regulated environments (21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11). 
  • Deep expertise in establishing and scaling IT PMO functions and portfolio dashboards.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English. 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; effective presentation skills

Salary and Benefits:

  • For California, the base salary range for this position is $126,900 - $145,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
