Job description

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with 8+ years of experience delivering technology programs, with strong insurance domain experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, action-oriented project leader who can manage multiple workstreams, drive governance, remove blockers, and ensure successful delivery across business, product, engineering, QA, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain the integrated delivery plan, including milestones, dependencies, sprint/release calendars, and key deliverables.
  • Lead delivery governance activities, including workstream meetings, RAID management, action/decision tracking, and release readiness.
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, including mitigation plans and escalations.
  • Coordinate execution across product, business, engineering, QA, environment, and release teams.
  • Manage scope alignment and change control, assessing impacts to timelines, costs, and deliverables.
  • Prepare executive-level status reports covering milestones, KPIs, risks, forward-looking activities, and support needs.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communications and drive timely decisions to prevent delivery delays.
  • Support cutover and go-live planning, including readiness checklists, runbooks, and go/no-go activities.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, including vendor and onshore/offshore resources.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of project management experience delivering technology programs.
  • Insurance domain experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, processes, and operations.
  • Proven experience managing multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with vendor and onshore/offshore teams.
  • Strong knowledge of project governance, including RAID logs, action/decision tracking, and dependency management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create concise, leadership-ready status reports.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage ambiguity and changing priorities.
