Job description

The IT Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and oversee IT projects and workstreams supporting the War Data Platform (WDP), ensuring activities are executed in accordance with program requirements, schedules, and objectives. This person will develop and maintain project plans, manage resources and dependencies, track progress against milestones, identify and mitigate project risks, and prepare status updates and other program deliverables. This person will facilitate communication and coordination across technical teams, program leadership, and stakeholders, helping resolve impediments and resource conflicts and ensuring continuity of project execution. This person will support Agile and SAFe practices by facilitating planning activities, team meetings, and Agile ceremonies, maintaining project and Agile artifacts, tracking performance metrics, and promoting continuous improvement. This person will manage stakeholder expectations, support quality control and risk management activities, and contribute to transition planning and other program initiatives as required. The IT Project Manager's primary objective is to ensure assigned IT projects and workstreams are effectively planned, coordinated, and delivered on schedule while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the WDP program.

Requirements

  • SECRET Security Clearance Required
  • We are actively seeking multiple levels:
    • Junior: 0 - 3 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
    • Journeyman: 4 - 7 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
    • Senior: 8+ years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
  • Good communication skills, self-starter mindset.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment: 

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
