Technical Staffing Recruiter – VMS / MSP / Automotive Location: 3270 W Big Beaver Troy, MI Schedule: Hybrid, onsite 3 days per week Join a high-performance recruiting team where speed, quality, and relationships matter. We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Recruiter with agency-side IT staffing experience who knows how to compete and win in a VMS/MSP-driven environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on urgency, understands the importance of speed to fulfillment and quality, and still believes recruiting should be a human, relationship-driven process.

This role is ideal for a recruiter who has experience recruiting for IT, engineering, automotive, and manufacturing-related positions, is organized and self-directed, and knows how to manage a high-volume, KPI-driven desk without losing sight of candidate quality and experience. Hybrid mix of working from home and onsite in the Troy, MI area and comfortable working onsite several days per week, with the flexibility to attend job fairs, networking events, conferences, and in-person candidate meetings as needed. What You’ll Do Recruit for a wide range of IT, engineering, automotive, and manufacturing-related roles Work on competitive VMS/MSP requirements where speed, follow-up, and quality submissions are critical Source, screen, interview, and qualify candidates quickly and effectively Build strong candidate pipelines through job boards, database mining, referrals, networking, events, and direct sourcing Partner closely with sales, account managers, hiring teams, and delivery stakeholders to understand priority openings and market challenges Submit well-qualified candidates with strong, accurate screening and clear recruiter summaries Manage multiple requisitions and priorities at once while keeping activity organized and moving forward Maintain a strong sense of urgency while protecting candidate experience and submission quality Build relationships with candidates in the local market and represent the company at in-person events when needed Track activity, pipeline health, interviews, submittals, and hires in a KPI-driven environment Stay informed on hiring trends in the Michigan market, especially across automotive, manufacturing, engineering, and IT staffing What We’re Looking For Proven experience as an IT recruiter in the staffing agency world Strong experience recruiting in a VMS/MSP or highly competitive staffing environment Background recruiting for IT roles, with added strength in automotive, engineering, and manufacturing-related hiring Strong understanding of speed to market, candidate quality, and urgency in staffing Ability to manage a busy desk, stay organized, and move multiple openings at once A recruiter who is both results-driven and candidate-focused Excellent screening, interviewing, and candidate qualification skills Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building ability Comfortable working in a metrics- and KPI-driven environment Local to the Troy, MI area and able to work onsite 2–3 days per week Able to attend local hiring events, networking opportunities, and in-person candidate meetings as needed What Will Make You Stand Out Experience supporting automotive clients or suppliers Experience filling roles such as software engineering, infrastructure, ERP, data, cybersecurity, manufacturing IT, plant IT, controls, embedded, QA, business systems, and other technical/engineering skill sets Strong local network in the Michigan recruiting market Track record of success with submittals, interviews, hires, and revenue impact Passion for building trust with candidates while delivering at speed Why This Role This is a chance to join a team that values execution, ownership, urgency, and quality.
