Program Manager, Lead

The Opportunity:

An effective program requires a manager who is passionate about guiding it through the complexities of its lifecycle. It requires someone who is dedicated to identifying challenges, mitigating risks, including those associated with cost and price analysis, and supporting a team with vision and focus. That's why we need you, a seasoned program manager who can ensure our Future G and AI-RAN technology program achieves success.

As a lead program manager on our team, you'll design, implement, and maintain impactful programs by guiding scientists and engineers to tackle our Nation's toughest technology challenges. Our government clients will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate pricing and costing requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. As an authority in the IT systems and technology, you'll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client's mission. You'll also broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more. This is your chance to impact Future G solutions while sharing your knowledge and expertise of program management methodologies.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience managing complex IT and Technology programs with dynamic budget management including pricing and cost

  • 5+ years of experience managing dispersed workforce and various functions in support of large-scale DoD projects

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and cost estimation frameworks

  • Experience in the development of cost and pricing proposals for competitive bids, including Basis of Estimate (BOE) creation and cost volume narratives

  • Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and cost accounting standards

  • Ability to collect and define their IT requirements, analyze and translate those requirements into project plans and milestones, and create realistic resource-loaded schedules to manage and report progress

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in a business, finance, or engineering field

  • PMP Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Knowledge of CSfC requirements, secure mobile communications, cloud integration, containerization, and DevSecOps

  • Possession of excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Master's degree in a STEM or Management field

  • IT, PM, or Governance Certification including, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, ITIL Foundation, CISSP, or ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
