Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Edison, NJ is seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead the integration of IT systems and infrastructure supporting a healthcare acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a strong healthcare IT background and proven experience managing complex M&A integrations.
Summary:
This role will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of all IT integration activities related to the acquisition of a healthcare provider organization. The Program Manager will act as the primary point of contact for all IT workstreams, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to clinical and business operations. Responsibilities include integrating EHR/EMR systems, clinical and business applications, and underlying infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage the IT integration strategy and roadmap from due diligence through post-merger stabilization
* Lead cross-functional IT teams across infrastructure, applications, data management, and cybersecurity
* Oversee data migration efforts, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security
* Manage integration of EHR/EMR platforms while minimizing workflow disruption
* Develop and manage program budgets, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths
* Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, clinical leadership, executives, vendors, and consultants
* Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
* Identify and mitigate program risks to avoid delays and cost overruns
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA
* Lead change management and communication efforts to support end users and maintain continuity of patient care
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
* PMP, PgMP, or other relevant project management certification is highly desirable
* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT program management, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, complex projects
* Demonstrated experience in managing IT integration projects as part of a merger or acquisition, preferably within the healthcare sector
* In-depth knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) systems, practice management systems, and other clinical and business applications
* Strong understanding of the challenges and best practices related to data migration and systems integration in a healthcare environment
* Thorough knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, particularly HIPAA
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
* Proven ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
* Travel Requirements/Expectations: On-site presence is required; The role is based in NJ and may require travel throughout the state as deemed appropriate
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
