Position Overview

The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE OIT) is seeking an experienced Operational Procurement Project Manager to lead IT procurement, contract management, solicitation development, and vendor implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, procurement lifecycle management, business analysis, RFx/SOW development, and vendor coordination while supporting enterprise technology initiatives.

  • Manage vendor implementation projects, timelines, deliverables, risks, and budgets.
  • Track procurement milestones, renewals, policy exceptions, and contract performance.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for contract compliance and vendor management.
  • Prepare project status reports, documentation, and governance artifacts.
  • Support project implementation and technology procurement initiatives from planning through completion.
Important Notes
  • Hybrid position โ€“ 2 days onsite per week in Dauphin County, PA.
  • Full-time 40 hours/week.
  • Experience with IT procurement, contract management, RFx development, and project management is highly preferred.
