We are seeking an IT Vendor Manager to join our team. This role will involve managing IT vendor relationships, overseeing contracts and performance compliance, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in vendor relationship management, IT procurement standards, contract and SLA oversight, risk mitigation, and IT financial management, with a passion for optimizing IT vendor operations and performance.

Job Description:

The IT Vendor Manager will support the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) by overseeing vendor partnerships, ensuring contract compliance, and driving value through strong performance management. This role is essential in aligning vendor services with organizational standards, budgets, and IT strategic goals.


Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years managing vendor relationships across software, hardware, cloud services, and consulting.
  • 3+ years experience tracking SLAs, KPIs, risk metrics, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Strong understanding of IT procurement standards, cybersecurity, data privacy, and accessibility.
  • Experience developing and maintaining a strategic vendor portfolio aligned with IT roadmaps.
  • Ability to conduct market research to identify emerging technologies and competitive vendor offerings.
  • Experience benchmarking pricing and service levels against industry standards.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • At least two years of full-time relevant work experience.
