Job description

Position Title: IT Specialist- Active TS/SCI

Position Overview:

Serves as the J2's lead, managing the lifecycle of systems and services on Top Secret (TS) networks within J2. This role ensures the reliability, security, and alignment of all IT solutions focusing on day-to-day system maintenance and basic lifecycle. The position requires basic technical skills and experience within DoW.

Position Responsibilities:

Oversee the complete IT asset lifecycle, from procurement to End of Life/End of Service disposition. Manage inventory and disposal of IT assets. Manage hardware and software inventories for accountability and ensure all initiatives meet DoW cybersecurity standards.

Position Requirements:

3-5 years of IT field experience with IT lifecycle management, preferably within the DoW. Proficient in written and oral communications. Proficiency with tools like Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills:

BS Degree

Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI

Required Certification(s): CompTIA Sec+

Education: High School Diploma
