This is a hands-on leadership position. While responsible for planning, coordination, and continuous improvement, the IT Manager is expected to personally execute the majority of operational work and technology initiatives while leveraging internal subject matter experts and external partners when specialized expertise is required.

This is a hybrid position based out of Aqueduct's headquarters in Canton, MA, with an expectation of working onsite approximately 2-3 days per week to support office operations, employee collaboration, and workplace technology.

  • Promote operational excellence and technology best practices

Internal IT Operations

  • Own the day-to-day operation of Aqueduct's internal technology environment
  • Deliver reliable, responsive technology support for employees across the organization
  • Manage endpoint lifecycle, employee onboarding and offboarding, workplace technology, and the day-to-day operation of Aqueduct's corporate technology environment
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, standards, and procedures
  • Continuously improve the employee technology experience through process improvement and automation

Enterprise Technology Management

  • Administer and support the organization's Microsoft cloud environment and core technology platforms
  • Manage business technology systems, workplace infrastructure, office technology, and lab technology
  • Support the technology needs of Aqueduct's corporate headquarters, including collaboration spaces and shared technology resources
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams and external vendors to ensure reliable technology services and support critical facility technologies
  • Support technology projects that improve business productivity, collaboration, and operational efficiency
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies that align with business objectives

AI & Business Enablement

  • Help drive the adoption of AI and modern workplace technologies across the organization
  • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities to improve productivity through technology
  • Support business application integrations and automation initiatives
  • Promote user adoption through education, best practices, and ongoing support

Operational Excellence & Governance

  • Execute internal technology initiatives aligned with company priorities
  • Ensure internal technology services remain aligned with established security, governance, and operational standards
  • Participate in technology planning, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain technology documentation, asset management, and operational best practices
  • Own the lifecycle management of internal technology assets, including procurement, inventory, deployment, assignment, recovery, refresh planning, software licensing, and secure disposal.

Collaboration

  • Partner with business leaders to understand technology needs and priorities
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Managed Services, and other internal teams to deliver successful technology initiatives
  • Coordinate third-party vendors and service providers supporting the internal technology environment
  • Communicate technology recommendations, project updates, and operational improvements to stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience supporting enterprise technology environments
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint management, identity, cloud technologies, networking, and modern workplace solutions
  • Experience supporting enterprise business applications and SaaS platforms
  • Experience supporting corporate office technology, workplace collaboration tools, and vendor-managed technology services
  • Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, communication, and project management skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
