2027 UPS InfoSec (Information Security) Summer Internship
Mahwah, NJ
Are you a student looking to launch your Information Technology career with a paid internship? If so, then UPS is the place for you! UPS, a leader in Information Technology, is currently seeking undergraduate students to join our team. If you are a highly motivated college student working on a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related degree, then UPS is a great place for you to start your career.
The 2027 UPS InfoSec Summer Intern is expected to support real time threat responses, protect the vast trove of valuable data that passes through our servers each day, and uphold our reputation for integrity in this growing and ever-changing field. Work may include providing onsite technical support to internal customers and heavy data analytics to improve internal tech tools. Specific projects the intern works on during the summer will vary, as it is dependent on which team within InfoSec you join.
This position requires three or more of the following hard skills:
Cloud Architecture, Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Data and information security knowledge, Power-Bi, R/Python (statistical programming), Windows & Linux/Unix Administration, HTML, Java, Security+, C++, IAM ID Provisioning, Sail Point, Service Now, Azure, JSON, Windows Server, Agile Methodology
This position requires the following soft skills:
Effective verbal and written communication, detail oriented and organized, collaboration, problem solving, multi-tasking, project management, troubleshooting.
++ Plus, if you are Bi-lingual (Spanish)
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week during the summer months (Monday - Friday, June - August).
  • The desired 2027 Summer Intern will be a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior, currently enrolled or graduated from (within the last 24 months) a degreed college/university program with a major in Information Security, Computer Science and/or related discipline.

Pay Range:
Pay for this internship is based on several factors, including but not limited to geographic location, education level, and course of study. The base pay ranges from $13.35/hour to $30.00/hour for Undergraduate Interns or $22.60/hour to $52.00/hour for Postgraduate Interns. Hired applicants may be eligible for 401(k) retirement program, Discounted Employee Stock Purchase Program, and personal time.
