The Experience You'll Create:
The IT Infrastructure Administrator - Customer Technology supports the stability, performance, and reliability of the technology deployed at customer cafรฉs, events, and micro-market locations. This entry-level role works under the guidance of the IT Infrastructure Manager - Customer Technology and senior infrastructure team members, providing hands-on support and learning across networking, systems, and customer-site technologies. The role serves as an escalation point from IT Support for basic
infrastructure issues while building greater technical skills over time. This position offers strong growth potential into advanced infrastructure, cloud, or network engineering roles.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and support of customer-site infrastructure, including networks, POS hardware, and related systems.
  • Support monitoring of system availability, performance, and connectivity at cafรฉ, events, and micro market locations.
  • Respond to escalated issues from the IT Support team and follow documented troubleshooting procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades, and equipment replacements under supervision.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting involving LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and connectivity issues.
  • Support inventory tracking, asset updates, and documentation for customer-site technology.
  • Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures as directed.
  • Work closely with Infrastructure Administrators and the IT Infrastructure Manager to learn best practices and standards.
  • Participate in customer-site deployments, upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives.
  • Follow security standards and operational procedures when working with infrastructure and customer environments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and support efficiency.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Foundational skills understanding required.
  • Foundational understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and basic server or endpoint administration concepts.
  • Ability to follow troubleshooting processes and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Location(s) & Logistics:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • The role will be hybrid with locations in Sterling Heights and Troy.
  • Occasional Travel is required for this role to visit customer sites and warehouses
