Job description

Position Summary

As a Utility, you will have flexible assignments based on daily need:  shipping, plating and assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting up, operating and performing minor maintenance on the parts washing machine
  • Add chemicals and water to parts washer tanks as necessary to produce clean parts
  • Responsible for setting up and operating Rack and Barrel Plating lines
  • Responsible for accurately counting & identifying materials throughout the Materials area
  • Responsible for interfacing work between all departments and the handling and processing of materials into and out of the area
  • Must be able to operate all equipment in the Materials area which includes PITs, scales, hoists, etc.
  • Set-up, adjust and operates all secondary machining equipment (lathes, burr bench, centerless grind, facer)

Qualifications

  • Previous similar experience preferred
  • Previous forklift experience preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Good basic math skills
  • Good computer skills
