Job description

Fluke is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex, high-visibility technology initiatives across our Commercial IT portfolio. This role drives execution across CRM, digital experience, web platforms, eCommerce, customer portals, DAM, PIM, and channel enablement solutions that directly support business growth, customer engagement, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.

This is an execution-focused delivery leadership role, not a project coordinator position. The successful candidate will bring structure to ambiguity, align cross-functional stakeholders, remove roadblocks, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure teams consistently deliver against business commitments.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable communicating with executive leadership, facilitating discussions with business stakeholders, and partnering directly with technical teams to drive delivery from concept through deployment.

You will partner with business leaders, product owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and external partners to bring strategic initiatives from concept to deployment while driving accountability, transparency, business value realization, and measurable outcomes.

Why This Role Matters

Commercial Technology plays a critical role in how Fluke engages customers, enables partners, and supports growth. This position helps drive the successful delivery of the platforms, integrations, and digital experiences that power customer engagement, revenue generation, digital commerce, and commercial operations worldwide.

The projects delivered through this role directly influence how customers interact with Fluke, how teams operate, and how the business continues to modernize and scale its technology capabilities globally.

What You'll Do Lead Delivery Execution

  • Own end-to-end project delivery from intake and planning through deployment, adoption, and project closeout.
  • Lead multiple concurrent Commercial IT initiatives across CRM, web, eCommerce, customer portals, digital asset management, digital marketing, and channel enablement platforms.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams consisting of business stakeholders, product owners, developers, architects, QA resources, vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Develop and manage project plans, milestones, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Drive project execution while proactively identifying and resolving obstacles that may impact delivery.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
  • Hold teams accountable for achieving project objectives, commitments, deliverables, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Establish clear ownership, accountability, and decision-making frameworks to keep initiatives moving forward.

Align Stakeholders and Drive Decisions

  • Partner with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into actionable delivery plans.
  • Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to evaluate, scope, estimate, and prioritize incoming project requests.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across business teams, product owners, developers, architects, QA resources, and external partners.
  • Lead decision-making discussions, manage escalations, and communicate tradeoffs, risks, dependencies, and recommendations.
  • Ensure alignment on scope, priorities, timelines, success criteria, and expected business outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Drive alignment between strategic goals, project execution, and value realization objectives.

Drive Governance and Communication

  • Deliver clear, concise executive-level communications on project status, accomplishments, risks, decisions, and next steps.
  • Maintain transparency across all phases of project execution through effective stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • Support portfolio planning, project prioritization, intake governance, and resource management activities across Commercial IT.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence.
  • Provide leadership with accurate project visibility to support informed decision-making.

Manage Financial and Delivery Performance

  • Track project financials, timelines, resource utilization, and delivery commitments.
  • Monitor and manage project health, ensuring issues are addressed before impacting business outcomes.
  • Partner with leadership to balance competing priorities and optimize resource allocation across initiatives.
  • Contribute to project governance processes, delivery standards, and portfolio management best practices.
  • Support annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and project intake activities.
  • Understand and manage dependencies across multiple initiatives and help optimize delivery across the broader Commercial IT portfolio.

Drive Adoption and Change Management

  • Partner with business stakeholders to support organizational readiness, user adoption, training, and change management activities.
  • Ensure business teams are prepared for solution deployment and ongoing adoption.
  • Monitor adoption success and work with stakeholders to address barriers to adoption and value realization.
  • Support transition planning to operational teams following implementation.

Manage Vendors and Delivery Partners

  • Manage relationships with implementation partners, consulting organizations, and technology vendors to ensure successful delivery.
  • Monitor partner performance, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and contractual commitments.
  • Coordinate external resources and ensure alignment with Fluke delivery standards and business objectives.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience leading complex IT projects and business technology initiatives.
  • Proven success managing enterprise projects involving custom development, SaaS platforms, packaged software implementations, system integrations, and third-party vendors.
  • Experience leading globally distributed business and technical teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate project health, risks, tradeoffs, mitigation strategies, and recommendations to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, budgets, timelines, resources, risks, dependencies, vendors, and escalations.
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and drive accountability across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Practical understanding of project management methodologies including PMI principles, Agile delivery, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
  • Experience utilizing project and portfolio management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing technology ecosystems including CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, customer portals, web platforms, DAM, PIM, channel enablement, digital marketing, or eCommerce solutions.
  • Experience leading projects involving data migration, platform modernization, cloud technologies, digital transformation, or customer-facing technology initiatives.
  • Experience working within complex matrixed global organizations and managing third-party vendors and consulting partners.
  • Experience supporting Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Service, Customer Experience, or Digital Commerce functions.
  • Experience delivering initiatives with measurable business outcomes related to revenue growth, customer experience, operational efficiency, or digital transformation.

Success in This Role

Successful candidates will:

  • Deliver projects with predictable execution, strong stakeholder confidence, and clear business value.
  • Consistently achieve committed scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Build alignment across business and technology teams to accelerate decision-making and delivery.
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and competing priorities across a complex portfolio.
  • Enable measurable improvements in customer experience, operational efficiency, revenue enablement, and digital transformation.
