RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Manager IT Finance Applications. This role will work on a Hybrid schedule in Sioux City, IA.
Responsibilities:
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of Finance Systems professionals while fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment
* Manage direct reports, including performance management, workload prioritization, mentoring, and career development
* Partner with Finance leadership to identify business needs and deliver technology solutions that support financial operations and strategic objectives
* Act as a key liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring effective communication and alignment across teams
* Lead small to mid-sized projects involving financial systems, process improvements, system enhancements, and integrations
* Coordinate cross-functional project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
* Help define project priorities, align resources, and manage competing business demands
* Gather, analyze, and refine business requirements to ensure solutions are ready for technical implementation
* Support and enhance systems supporting General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning processes
* Collaborate with reporting, analytics, and data teams to support business intelligence, reporting, and integration initiatives
* Oversee testing, issue resolution, deployment activities, and ongoing application support
* Manage relationships with software vendors and external partners related to finance applications and services
* Maintain system documentation, procedures, training materials, and operational standards
* Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to business and technology stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related discipline; Equivalent experience may be considered
* 7+ years of experience supporting, implementing, or managing enterprise business applications
* Previous people leadership experience managing 2-7 direct reports
* Experience leading cross-functional or matrixed project teams of 5+ individuals
* Strong understanding of finance operations, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial transactions
* Ability to effectively partner with Finance leaders and translate business needs into technology solutions
* Proven experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement skills
* Experience with ERP, EPM, financial planning, or enterprise business systems
* Oracle EPM, Hyperion, Oracle EBS/ERP, Oracle Fusion, SAP, or similar financial systems experience preferred
* Experience supporting system upgrades, migrations, implementations, or finance transformation initiatives is highly desirable
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
* Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching, delegation, conflict resolution, and team development
* Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
* Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on project and operational involvement
* High-growth leadership mindset with interest in advancing into broader management responsibilities
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
