Project Manager – Hire it People, Inc. – Atlanta, GA. Job Responsibilities
  • Manage project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage all aspects of projects with direct accountability.
  • Develop and oversee detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Regularly monitor project progress against the plan, identifying potential risks and roadblocks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Proactively manage changes to project scope and requirements.
  • Develop product roadmap to align with CAPS needs.
  • Collaborate with DECAL IT, vendors, partner agencies, project team members, and subject matter experts to implement solutions according to agreed-upon milestones and deliverables.
  • Oversee the work of the project coordinator such as documenting and tracking actions, owners and due dates.
  • Coordinate the activities of multi-functional, collaborative teams, as well as task dependencies and schedule.
  • Foster collaboration and communication within the team.
  • Oversee stakeholder communication of progress, blockers, next steps.
  • Leads project planning sessions with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Delivery utilizing various project methodologies and iterative frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum and Agile.
  • Assist with test plan and issue management process development.
  • Document progress of adhering to deliverables and communicate with executive leadership as needed to address deficiencies.
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders on project status through reports/presentations.
  • Develop and lead the project team to the delivery of successful project outcomes.
  • Serve as a member of CAPS Program Administration unit and supports the work of other team members as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Five years of recent relevant project management experience.
