Job Description About the Role We are seeking a skilled Configuration Management Specialist to support our engineering, mission operations, and technical teams in Huntsville, Alabama-the Rocket City. In this hands-on role, you'll focus on the day-to-day management of configuration control processes across diverse technical teams that underpin mission-critical applications for NASA's ongoing operations on the International Space Station (ISS) and the Artemis program, which is ushering in a new era of lunar exploration and preparing for human missions to Mars. Key Responsibilities * Create and distribute agendas for various Program Change boards
* Submit agenda topics weekly and support admin tag-ups for schedule alignment
* Solicit, collect, and post presentations to SharePoint with efficiency and collaboration
* Identify CM-related topics through participation during multiple working group sessions on a daily basis
* Serve as Secretariat: support meeting minutes and document coordination
* Plan and execute configuration management tasks with engineering teams
* Maintain technical baselines, configuration items, and CM documentation
* Manage and continuously monitor multiple configuration management databases and required updates * Facilitate change requests through submission, review, approval, and implementation
* Maintain ECR reports, action logs, and monthly schedules
* Review presentations for accuracy and security considerations
* Manage, route, and archive documentation
* Update and maintain data in Service Now and related repositories
* Deliver Level 3 change sets and support cross-team action items Qualifications * Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple parallel workflows
* Experience in Configuration Management or Technical Documentation Control
* Familiarity with engineering lifecycle, CM processes, and technical baselines
* Experience with SharePoint, ServiceNow, and technical documentation systems Education and Experience:
Requires a high school education or equivalent, plus a minimum of six years concentrated experience in configuration management or a Bachelor of Science and 0-2 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in STEM is preferred. Other Requirements: * US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.
