Job description

Occupational Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

The standard work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There may be a requirement for one Saturday coverage per month if possible as part of the contract.

As an Occupational Therapist in a freestanding 40 bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF), you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from stroke and other rehabilitation needs.

Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of each patient.

Develop and implement individualized therapy programs aimed at improving patients' functional abilities.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Document patient care and maintain accurate records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.

Experience in acute rehabilitation preferred; however, strong applicants will also be considered.
