Job Summary and Qualifications

Functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing direct patient care and individualized care planning/implementation and oversight of support staff. Performs daily treatments as outlined by Primary Occupational Therapist. Maintains accurate and pertinent documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries on all scheduled patients in a timely and professional manner. Confers with staff members about patient care conferences, family education activities, and D/C planning. When needed, instructs patient/family in home treatment program. Participates in rehabilitation development projects, including quality assessment and improvement program procedures, program evaluations, peer reviews.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Associate Degree
  • State Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant, (COTA) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
