Job Overview

Position: IR Technician

Location: Reno, NV

Department: Angiography

Shifts Available: Per Diem - Days

Compensation: $760.00 โ€“ $920.00 per shift (base gross); equivalent to $95.00 โ€“ $115.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians (Cardiologists/Radiologists) during cardiovascular procedures by scrubbing in and monitoring physiological and hemodynamic data
  • Prepare and maintain procedure rooms to ensure they are ready for use
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of instruments and supplies
  • Support both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures
Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training

  1. ARRT-R certification and state-required licensure or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification are mandatory.
  2. Prior experience in a Cardiovascular Lab is preferred.
  3. Completion of a cardiovascular technologist training program with a focus on invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is preferred.
  4. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA is required upon hire and must be maintained.
  5. Strong computer skills are essential.
