Great Hill is seeking a Senior Accountant to support our federal customer. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Seven (7)+ years of experience in accounting, with at least three (3) years in federal or DoW government accounting
  • Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP and federal accounting standards (FASAB)
  • Experience with general ledger, subsidiary ledger, and budgetary/proprietary account reconciliation
  • Experience preparing adjusting journal entries, including corrections to accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Working knowledge of OMB Circular A-136 financial reporting requirements
  • Experience supporting financial data calls to internal and external stakeholders (e.g., DFAS, OSD, OMB)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with a minimum of 24 semester hours in Accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing

Desired Skills:

  • CPA licensure or CDFM/CGFM certification
  • Experience with GFEBS financial accounting system, including journal entry processing
  • Experience calculating PP&E depreciation and maintaining asset records
  • Experience supporting indirect cost models and reimbursement analysis (G-Invoicing, IPAC)
  • Experience supporting financial audit sample preparation and documentation
