Education/Training:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with minimum of Master's degree in psychology, social work or mental health related field.
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum three (3) years experience in the mental health field.
- Experience in providing and supervising individual, group, and family therapy
- Experience in working with health insurance utilization management
- Working knowledge of Mental Health Interventions such as Electro Convulsive Therapy and Trans-cranial magnetic Stimulation
Licensure/Certification :
- CPR certification
- LCSW, LMHC, or CAP required
Knowledge and Skills:
- Well organized
- Works independently
- Ability to provide supervision (clinical) for registered interns
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage stress appropriately.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Good customer service skills
- Aware of community resources available to coordinate discharge planning/referrals.
