What is the difference between Practicum Counselor vs Counseling Intern?
| Aspect | Practicum Counselor | Counseling Intern |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Typically enrolled in a graduate counseling program, may have some supervised experience | Usually in graduate training, often completing required internship hours |
| Work Environment | Supervised clinical settings, mental health clinics, schools | Internship placements, training clinics, educational institutions |
| Employer & Industry | Non-profit organizations, mental health agencies, schools | Universities, training programs, community clinics |
