Summary

The Invoice Analyst will provide invoice reviews on a cost-reimbursable LNG mega project. Our Invoice Analysts have a business and project controls oriented background with an industry understanding of how basic industry standards can be effectively applied to invoice reviews. Our Invoice Analyst is responsible for achieving safe, cost effective, timely and contractually compliant project results.

An Invoice Analyst thrives in challenging environments and accomplishes difficult assignments without significant supervision and instruction. Our Invoice Analysts complete goals on time, possess strong attention to detail, perseveres through tough obstacles, and does not get easily discouraged.

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead a Safe work culture.
  • Provide analysis to project teams and operating plants by providing communication, coordination and follow-up to meet project goals and objectives.
  • Review, analyze, and understand contracts and exhibits for Agent For Contractors, Contractors, and Subcontractors
  • Oversee specific section of project invoicing and reporting of Agent For Contractors, Contractor, and Subcontractors
  • Ensure a 3-way match is being utilized by Agent For Contractors, Contractor, and Subcontractors during invoicing process.
  • Perform and understand time vs. clock analysis on Agent For Contractors, Contractor, and Subcontractors.
  • Analyze and understand Agent For Contractors, Contractor, and Subcontractor commitments to ensure appropriate committed values are utilized and committed values are reduced when no longer needed.
  • Utilize and understand standard analytics through PowerBI
  • Oversight of Accounts Payable approvals and ensuring invoices are reviewed and approved in a timely manner.
  • Understand industry standards and utilize those standards in review of craft and staff labor, staffing plans, construction equipment, construction equipment plans, etc.
  • Support cost mitigation of project challenges through creative and innovating problem solving.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant business and/or cost experience on major Oil & Gas Engineering and Construction projects specifically related to project invoicing.
  • Experience with LNG Liquefaction or Combined Cycle Power Generation projects preferred.
  • Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and work within project deadlines, and adjust as priority changes occur in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Have advanced computer experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other project related software.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Excel is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to efficiently summarize and prioritize information.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
