Job description

Fund & Investment Operations Analyst, Senior Associate
Location: Malvern, PA- Hybrid Role
Looking for your next opportunity within Vanguard? Well look no further! The Fund & Investment Operations Analyst, Senior Associate role on the Derivatives & Collateral Management team may be the perfect next step.
As part of Vanguard's Middle Office organization, our team plays a critical role in protecting Vanguard funds by ensuring appropriate collateral is exchanged with some of the world's largest financial institutions. We serve as a key control point between our investment, trading, and external counterparties, helping to mitigate risk and support the firm's derivatives activity.
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to financial markets, derivatives, risk management, and investment operations while working in a collaborative environment. You'll have the chance to drive process improvements, partner with internal and external stakeholders, and develop expertise in a specialized area that directly supports Vanguard's investment business.
What You'll Do
  • Manage daily collateral operations and relationships with assigned broker-dealers and custodians.
  • Investigate and resolve operational breaks, reconciliation differences, and complex exceptions.
  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, controls, and risk management.
  • Partner with internal teams and external organizations to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and help strengthen procedures, controls, and team knowledge.

Qualifications
