Investment Operations Analyst - Boston, MA

We are currently seeking candidates for an Investment Operations Analyst opportunity with a highly successful Investment Management firm located in Quincy, MA. The Investment Operations Analyst will support trade operations by processing, reviewing, and confirming trades, conducting nightly pricing activities, and researching and resolving discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have 1–3+ years of experience in investment operations, trade support, or financial services.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, paying between $28-30/hour within a 40-hour work week.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with investment operations and nightly pricing processes
  • Support trade operations by processing, reviewing, and confirming trades
  • Research and resolve trade errors, discrepancies, exceptions, and processing issues
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to investigate and resolve operational inquiries
  • Communicate transaction issues, status updates, and resolutions, escalating as needed
  • Follow established procedures and company standards to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementation as needed
  • Support additional operational responsibilities and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics (required)
  • GPA above 3.0 (required)
  • 1+ years of experience (internships included)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups and PivotTables)
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and also independently
  • Demonstrated interest in investment operations 
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills 
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to learn
