Altogether, the Yadav Enterprises' portfolio encompasses over 2,000 restaurants as well as resort properties. Yadav Enterprises continues to drive growth through brand development, operational excellence, and strategic expansion across multiple hospitality and dining concepts.



Position Summary:


Yadav Enterprises, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Counsel to join our in-house legal team. Reporting to the Senior Counsel, Litigation and Regulatory Affairs, the role will support the litigation of a wide range of matters across the company's portfolio of brands, including employment disputes, commercial claims, personal injury, class actions, and other legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of litigation experience, with strong drafting, research, and investigation skills. This role provides the rare opportunity to join an in-house legal department in a high-visibility, high-impact role with direct access to senior leadership.


Location: Fremont, CA 

 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Litigate and manage the litigation of employment, commercial, premises liability, consumer, and intellectual property disputes, including drafting dispositive motions, leading discovery efforts, and handling court appearances.
  • Work closely with outside counsel to develop litigation strategy, review discovery, prepare witnesses for deposition and trial, and attend settlement conferences, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Support internal investigations related to legal claims or potential litigation exposure.
  • Monitor legal trends and developments that may impact litigation or liability risk.
  • Ensure litigation strategies align with the company's brand values, risk tolerance, and business objectives.


 

Qualifications:


  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the California Bar.
  • 3+ years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for candidates with experience working at leading law firms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and brands.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.


Preferred Skills:


  • Familiarity with insurance defense strategies and claims handling.
  • Experience managing class actions and high-exposure litigation.


Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role working in Fremont, California office is $135,000 to $165,000. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
