Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Inventory Coordinator to join our team in Holyoke, MA.

Work Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 5am-1:30pm

Job Responsibilities

  • Ordering test bench supply replenishment

  • Identifying old/new lots of reagents and calibrators for department

  • Documents and maintains records of all reagent/calibrator inventory

  • Follow appropriate storage criteria for reagents

  • Disinfect bench area and document as required

  • Complete and track Iron Mountain boxes

  • Receive and sort clinical lab specimens

  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis

  • Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information

  • Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance

  • Troubleshoot any specimen related issues

  • Replenish test bench supplies as needed

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 months or more of experience working with lab reagents

  • 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience

Additional Job Standards

  • Comfortability with handling biological specimens

  • Ability to accurately identify specimens

  • Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Ability to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times

Pay Range: $20.25-$23.25

All job offers will bebased on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicabledegrees/certifications,as well as internal equity and market data.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.Employees who are regularly scheduled toworka 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
