Position Overview

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of inventory control to ensure inventory accuracy, organization, and efficiency throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies while supporting continuous process improvements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records and inventory transactions
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure products are properly stored and organized
  • Conduct cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits
  • Research, document, and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Identify root causes of inventory variances and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and recommend improvements to inventory control processes and procedures
  • Work closely with the Distribution Manager to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization and storage efficiency
  • Maintain inventory integrity through detailed recordkeeping and process compliance
  • Assist with special projects and other warehouse-related duties as assigned


Qualifications

Required

✅ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

✅ Comfortable working in a warehouse environment

✅ Ability to safely use warehouse ladders and pallet jacks

✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills


Preferred

⭐ Previous inventory control or warehouse experience

⭐ Experience conducting cycle counts and inventory audits

⭐ Familiarity with inventory management systems

⭐ NetSuite experience preferred, but not required


Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift and move materials as needed
  • Use of warehouse ladders and pallet jacks
  • Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment
