Need Something New?
If you are tired of being stuck in a dead-end job and have always wanted a managerial position that travels, Advanced Inventory Solutions (AIS) has you covered!
As an employee at AIS, you will work in different grocery stores, gas stations, and retail stores within a large service area. Our inventory specialists are critical in helpingย underserved regional clients. Think of your local grocery store rather than large chains such as Walmart or Target.
The Job
Aย difference in sceneryย makes the inventory district manager's position unique. Not only do we work with a variety of customers each week, but we travel to different cities too. Our teams utilizeย handheld scanning equipmentย to complete an inventory count, so our customers have an accurate and updated report detailing their current inventory. You do not need to be a math whiz or a product expert to be an inventory specialist at AIS.
The district manager will perform many managerial tasks such asย drivingย our specialists to customer sites in our company vans,ย overseeing auditsย and working with store managers,ย submitting reportsย to the corporate office, andย orientation and trainingย of new employees. Monitoring the teams forย accuracy, professionalism, andย conformanceย to AIS's policies are crucial responsibilities of the district manager.
Additionally, the district manager will be responsible for conducting interviews, hiring and terminating employees as necessary, implementing disciplinary actions when appropriate, and assisting with scheduling as needed.
The Culture
The people who shop at our customers' stores come from aย variety of backgrounds. We believe our team members should as well. Our specialists consist of those who have struggled to fit in at other jobs and want thatย second chanceย to prove themselves.
Our leaders strive to create a work environment withย no micromanagement; a place where you can independently develop your skills and will not have someone always looking over your shoulder.
