Warehouse Manager

Location: Norfolk, VA

Position Overview

Tidewater Staffing is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations within a fast-paced appliance distribution warehouse. This role focuses on inventory accuracy, product movement, warehouse organization, and reducing shrinkage while supporting overall warehouse operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory receiving, stocking, storage, and outbound product flow.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate discrepancies.
  • Develop processes to minimize inventory shrinkage.
  • Coordinate inventory movement supporting warehouse, delivery, and installation teams.
  • Monitor cycle counts and inventory control procedures.
  • Assist with warehouse workflow and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise warehouse personnel involved in inventory operations.
  • Report directly to the Operations Manager.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of inventory, warehouse, logistics, or distribution management experience.
  • Experience with inventory control, receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory software.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Leadership experience supervising warehouse teams preferred.
