Inventory Supervisor

Our Inventory Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining accurate stock levels and supporting overall inventory control within the dispensary. This individual will lead by example, train and coach all Dispensary Inventory Associates, and lead team to achieve compliance and operational excellence within the inventory department. This individual will have opening and closing responsibilities and assist with inventory audits, investigations, and reconciliations. The Inventory Supervisor will monitor product quality, check expiration dates, and help maintain smooth inventory flow. Additionally, this role includes performing regular inventory counts, supporting inventory management systems, and working with the team to streamline picking and storage processes.


Your role in caring for our company:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead and support the inventory team to ensure overall compliance and efficiency with inventory flow and operations.
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing cannabis products and supplies accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with placing orders for cannabis and non-cannabis merchandise
  • Track inventory levels and report stock shortages or overstock to the Inventory Manager.
  • Support the picking and pulling of products for orders, ensuring timely and accurate selection.
  • Perform inventory counts and update stock records to maintain accuracy.
  • Assist with maintaining product quality standards, including checking expiration dates and handling storage requirements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to support overall inventory flow and efficient operations.
  • Train, coach, and lead the inventory team in all inventory associate functions.
  • Assist in preparing inventory reports and maintaining accurate records in inventory management systems.
  • Help resolve minor inventory discrepancies and escalate issues as needed to the Inventory Manager.
  • Comply with dispensary policies, including local and state regulations and security protocols.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized storage area to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Assist and manage routine inventory audits to support overall compliance and accuracy.
  • Stay updated on product types and basic industry knowledge to support informed inventory management.
  • Mastery to perform all functions within the seed to sale tracking systems.

Team Leadership

  • Foster a culture of professionalism, guiding teams to achieve optimal results.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork and inclusion while providing support and guidance to the team and providing feedback to management.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Human Resources Department and appropriate partners to implement and manage the company's policies and procedures.
  • Retain and develop top performers by understanding individual's motivations and providing actionable feedback.
  • Train, coach, and lead the team in all dispensary retail associate functions, sales goals, and KPIs.
  • Addresses low performance quickly, compassionately, and in alignment with company policies.

Qualifications we ask you to have:

  • For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.
  • You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
  • We ask that you have at least a high school diploma/GED.
  • We ask that you have a minimum of one (1) year of managerial experience.
  • We ask that you have a minimum of two (2) years of inventory experience.
  • We ask that you have a minimum of one (1) year of experience with Excel.
  • We prefer that you have a minimum of one (1) year of METRC experience.
  • We prefer that you have a minimum of one (1) year of point of sale (POS) experience.

Work Schedule/Location:
