Inventory Cycle Counter

The Inventory Cycle Counter will be responsible for performing cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring flow of goods and/or materials within our organization. This is a crucial role that collaborates with various departments to optimize inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and controlling inventory practices to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintaining product identification and location programs.
  • Researching inventory discrepancies and resolving potential issues.
  • Counting physical inventory routinely.
  • Performing audits and writing receipts of inventory.
  • Tracking and reporting on uncommon products.
  • Developing solutions for inventory issues such as overstocking.
  • Inspecting products and keeping a record of damaged goods.
  • Managing deliveries and checking products against logs.
  • Operating machinery such as forklift, pallet jack and power lift machines

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no direct reports.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be able to operate Reach and Stand-up Forklifts
  • Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Expert organizational and coordinating abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting under pressure situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Required Education and Experience:

  • 1+ years' on-the-job experience in Inventory Cycle or Inventory Management
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalency

Other Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in hot and cold climates
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard
  • Ability to read a variety of materials
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to carry and lift materials up to 25 lbs.
