ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
LoneStar Fasteners is looking for the right, qualified individuals to join our team! The Cycle Counter will be responsible for performing cycle counts daily in the warehouse and manufacturing floor to ensure the accuracy of stock on hand.
  • Manufacturing employees must comply with company Safety and Security policies including use of Personal Protective Equipment
  • Report injuries, accidents, near misses or unsafe conditions to a Supervisor or Manager immediately.
  • Ensure that stock inventory in the warehouse is accurate
  • Enter all relevant cycle count data into designated systems
  • Perform scheduled audits like Scrap reporting, work label accuracy, shipping order pulling
  • Verifies receipts, Cycle Count Adjustments, Item Master Details etc.
  • Use sit-down and swing reach forklifts.
  • Communicate cycle count findings to those responsible for inventory.
  • Comply with Company policy and procedures on Quality Assurance as well as Company Health and Safety Policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE
  • 0-2 years of related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment. Swing Reach Forklift experience a plus.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Able to be alert in a high-risk environment
  • Able to read, understand, interpret and follow detailed work instructions and manufacturing specifications
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
  • Ability to adjust to changes without compromising Quality or Performance
  • Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Must be willing to work a shift schedule
  • Ability to pass a basic math, measurement and counting test
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, including weekends
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of scheduled shift
  • Moderate physical effort handling parts. Equivalent to frequently exerting average effort. Ability to manually load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, platforms, saws, and trucks up to weighing 25-150 lbs
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus
  • Manual dexterity using hands, fingers, and arms to push, pull, reach, grab, hold, lift, and hammer
  • Continuous mental and visual attention in cleaning. Diversified duties requiring constant alertness or activity.
