Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Data Entry Associate

Job Location: Laredo, Texas

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Data Entry Associate to support and maintain accurate data processing for daily warehouse operations. This position will be based at the Laredo, TX location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input and update shipment information in internal systems, including merchandise received, shipper, consignee, number of pieces, and weight
  • Create and maintain internal reference numbers for all inbound freight
  • Review and process instructions received via email from shippers and consignees related to shipments stored in the warehouse
  • Ensure all data entered is accurate, complete, and aligned with supporting documentation
  • Communicate with warehouse staff to confirm receipt, processing, and status of cargo
  • Track and update shipment records once warehouse work has been completed
  • Receive, process, and return documentation once freight handling activities are finalized
  • Maintain organized digital and/or physical records of shipment transactions
  • Support inventory accuracy by ensuring timely and precise data entry updates
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to the appropriate team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills / Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Proficient in data entry and computer systems (MS Office, warehouse management systems preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond to email requests promptly
  • Basic understanding of warehouse or logistics operations preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay Rate: $14.75/hr. in accordance with the CBA
